According to the American Thoracic Society (ATS), lowering two types of air pollutant restriction levels in the U.S. will preserve precious lives and drop down the rate of serious illness. Curbing airborne ozone and  fine particle levels will decrease the events of heart attacks, hospital admissions, and emergency room frequents by 21,400 per annum. ATS enlisted ten U.S. cities that can take the most out of stricter air standards.
