The Genetic Risk of Disease Through Migration

The Genetic Risks World Map shows the effects of human migration on the genetic risk of multiple diseases around the world.

The visualizations display genetic data across 51 worldwide populations provided by the Human Genome Diversity Project with the likelihood ratio of the disease at different locations. This project was completed in the Butte Lab at Stanford University by Erik Corona, a Ph.D. candidate at Stanford University in the Biomedical Informatics Ph.D. program.
