Claremont Graduate University’s School of Information Systems and Technology has partnered with Esri to sponsor a GIS student developer contest. The contest offers more than $70,000 in scholarships and cash prizes to entrants who can demonstrate the best uses of GIS technology in two focus areas: public health and humanitarian issues or transportation safety.
Submissions to the contest must be submitted by 11:59pm (PDT) November 1, 2011. The winners will be announced at the university’s GIS Day on November 16, 2011.
