Street View Archiving Japan’s Disaster Zones

Using  Street View to digitally archive Japan’s disaster zones, Google provides a useful tool to offer street-level imagery of the recovery efforts in Japan. It offers an immersive, 360-degree panoramic  of images to better understand the scope of the destruction. It was taken for more than 100 famous sites across Japan through their Street View Partner Program to remember the tragedy from the March 11th earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
