Smartphones to Help Malaria Surveillance Effort in Botswana

 To bolster surveillance of malaria outbreaks in Botswana, Hewlett-Packard has announced it will use its webOS mobile operating system.

The CHAI (the Clinton Health Access Initiative), founded by President Bill Clinton, and the mobile network provider MASCOM are also collaborating on the effort.
