A new study aims to map the extent of neurological disorders in Indian children, and to encourage India to put in place public health programs to diagnose and provide treatment to kids with disabilities early on. The study, the first of its kind in India, is being carried out by the International Clinical Epidemiology Network Trust, which works on improving health care research in the developing world, and funded by funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health. The University of Pennsylvania, Stanford University, and the University of Wisconsin are partners in the study.
