Potential effects of traffic-related air pollution on respiratory health

A new study that appeared in Environmental Health points out the potential effects of traffic-related air pollution on respiratory health status, including lung function impairment. GIS was used to examine whether distance from a main road affected respiratory health status. The  study found if you live closer to a road you are more likely to suffer respiratory illness.
