Cervical Health Awareness Month

In the United States, January is dedicated as Cervical Health Awareness Month. Cervical cancer is the third most common cancer in women, and the seventh overall, with an estimated 530 000 new cases in 2008 worldwide. The National Cervical Cancer Coalition highlights what people can do to raise awareness about HPV and Cervical Cancer.
