Study Finds Living Near a Freeway is Associated with Autism

Multi-year study at UC Davis finds association between autism and proximity, during third trimester, to freeways. However, the study concludes that examination of associations with measured air pollutants is needed.The study does not provide any insight for a specific pollutant, if any, that could be responsible for a higher rate of autism.
