Germany and China jointly tracking greenhouse gases

A German aerospace contractor, OHB System, and a Chinese research agency, the Institute of Remote Sensing Applications, have signed a deal to jointly develop a satellite fleet in order to monitor greenhouse gases contributing to climate change.

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) is just a framework agreement for the so-called CarbonSat constellation, signed August 15th.
