The webinar session will be presented by Sree Balaji, the CEO of iLink Systems and Piyush Prakash, Group Manager at iLink Systems. The topics that will be discussed include: an introduction of iLink’s GIS Framework; explanation of the underlying technology (including Silverlight, Bing Map, Azure); discussion of key aspects of the GIS Framework; and demonstration of several reference implementation of the framework targeting healthcare, citizen services, security, as well as other public sector areas.Piyush states that iLinks has introduce this mapping software because β€œNow more than ever, government agencies at the state and local levels are looking for efficient ways to deliver current and contextual information online on critical topics and services to their residents. They face intense budget pressures to do this at a low initial cost and without high, ongoing operational and maintenance charges.” It is a reusable framework which allows easy creation and deployment of intuitive, visual, map-based solutions that can cover social services, health services, public safety, schools, arts, recreation, and more.”
