Rabies is an infectious disease transmittable from animal to human and vice-versa. It is a serious viral zoonotic and often fatal. The World Rabies Day will be On September 28, 2008. i am very happy to see the message. we have also celebrated the world rabies day 2007 by free rabies vaccination and various awareness programmes in nepal. it was national zoonosis and food hygiene research centre (nzfhrc) who carried out such activity. i am the veterinary officer working in nzfhrc. this yearalso we are going to celebrate the world rabies day.
